Sound/thing, sound/touch, auditory skin. Sound space, psychic space.

First as mimetic envelopes, with sketches of faces and phonic identities, then as automata capable of performing complex tasks with ever greater precision: machine automation has been able to lift humans from heavy and repetitive work, but it could never deprive them of the freedom to err.

Arts like painting, music and dance can reinterpret, revisit automation to make it a product of human obsession, with delirious and sometimes grotesque outcomes.

Now, however, a rudiment of conscience is granted to artificial beings endowed with bio-numerical senses and refined intelligence. They are able to foresee, to learn, to wait, and perhaps one day to anticipate, with a word, what has not yet been pronounced.
